This is the second Reindeer Stable in the North Pole collection. The first, for Dasher and Dancer, was introduced in May 2008. The stables are designed to be displayed side by side. Though different colors are highlighted, they share the same color pallet. Like the first stable, this barn includes individual Dutch doors for each reindeer. Hanging signs identify each reindeer's home: Prancer, #3, is noted with the characteristic of power and Vixen, #4, is noted with the characteristic of style. Twin turret towers lead to the hay loft above. Steep pitched roof aids shedding snow. Sacks of grain and piles of straw are stored outside, while 2 sets of sculpted jingle bell harnesses hang on the front tower. Sculpted on the side are a tiny rake and pitch fork, kept handy for working straw from the hay door above. Timber framing and cracked stucco gives the barn a rural feel. Holiday trim and coloration give it a festive look.
