Lots of holiday boughs and red bows adorn the building, and carefully trimmed topiaries and a corner wrought iron fence flank the entrances. The old sign with the name “Smith & Sons” recalls a time when the local blacksmiths also served as horse farriers. Note the year of establishment on the sign, 1756 – and the address, 56 Parkway.
